Why is there another "Login" within the member's area? The data of my ticket don't work there.
With your ticket you have unrestricted access to the entire member area. If you want to have your private album to upload pictures and videos you need an internal registration which is free of course. You can choose a username and password of your choice and they will be different from your ticket data.
After you confirmed your internal registration you'll find "Your Album" button in the upper right corner. Inside your album there is a special menu to handle all aspects of your personal album, i.e. add elements, delete elements etc.
If I create my personal album will this be visible/accessible for other members too?
No, you are the only one who will even see it (besides the administrator, of course). Elements of your album will be copied to albums accessible for all members if you request so.
I would like to upload some videos/pictures and have them published in the member's area. But I wouldn't like that material to be spread uncontrollably over the Net. Can you add watermarks to my videos/pictures?
Yes, we can. But sometimes when the video quality is too bad already a new encoding wouldn't make any sense. So let us view your video first. We will never make it accessible for others without your prior consent.
I have some videos/pictures which carry watermarks that are bothering me. Can you remove them?
Besides the fact that it is a load of work - sometimes even impossible - to remove watermarks from videos and pictures we would not do it. If you send us videos/pictures containing watermarks we have to assume that you are not the copyright holder. The legal owner of such material would sure find ways to get rid of the watermarks.
What are the criteria for videos/pictures that can be published in the member's area?
There are some basic principles: No kiddy porn, no animal things, no obvious rape, no obvious non-consensual stuff, no obvious professionally produced works, no watermarked sources.
Besides those basic criteria we check if the videos and pictures offered *fit* into our site.
I offered you some videos and they are available for download to members. Now I want you to take them offline. What do I have to do?
You only have to delete the items from your personal album and it will be automatically removed from the publicly accessible albums.
I am the legal copyright owner of material posted on your site and I never gave you permission to use it. What can I do to make you remove it immediately?
We do our best to avoid such cases. But it happens that a member falsly claims to be the owner of the material he wants us to post. It also happens that someone falsly claims to be the owner of material he wants us to remove. So whenever this occurs we ask for as much proof as possible to make the right decisions.
If you really are the legal owner it will not be too difficult for you to prove that. And we will immediately comply and remove your items.
One of the videos I downloaded cannot be played. My software doesn't recognize the codec.
The first thing you should do is to set your player to "automatically download reqired Codecs"
